THESE NEW YORK CITY STREETS 🗽🚕

Discover Prompts # STREET 4/4/20

I was born in Bronx in New York City At Morrisania Hospital in 1967. I don’t remember much about living in the Bronx as a child.

I do remember my Mom, Dad , older sister and I lived on Clay Avenue in the Bronx. Claremont Park was across the STREET from our Apartment. My Dad would get off work after working 2 jobs and take myself and my sister to the park everyday.

I remember at an early age begin taught to look both ways before crossing the STREET. But what I remember most is My Daddy holding my hand so TIGHTLY as we crossed the STREET and ALWAYS saying REMEMBER Baby girl ALWAYS look both ways before crossing the STREET 🙏🏽♥️

My dad turned 80 on March 31 and my. Mom turned 75 on March 21 . I’m so GRATEFUL AND BLESSED. They both are here to STILL HOLD MY HAND WHILE I KEEP CROSSING THESE STREETS.

THANKS MOM AND DAD ♥️🥰💯🙏🏽
