ARE JOKES REALLY FUNNY OR IS IT TRUTH IN DISGUISE

Jokes can make you laugh and cry at the same time. Depending upon the Joke, Source and Audience. Not all jokes are funny, so then why is it called a joke ?

Jokes were originally intended as a form of entertainment and humour . In many Cultures Jokes takes on many meanings of either Status or Disrespect. What may pass as a funny joke in Chinese culture may not be funny to someone in American culture and vice versa.

Even though we all have an individual sense of humor or a sense of what makes you laugh or what is funny to you doesn’t mean there isn’t something about the joke that might have some TRUTH to it.

Sometimes there is a fine line between a Joke and the Truth about the subject and or object of the intended joke. Usually a joke is light hearted and funny, but there’s all kinds of people, places and things that are used as inspiration for a great joke or a bad one.

At the end of the day, my opinion is I love a good joke and I have a great sense of humor and I’m funny as hell. But that’s my opinion of myself. I dare say for the people that know me personally know I will keep you laughing. I’m more of a spontaneous person and once I get started the jokes just seem to flow.

I’m always cautious about what I’m saying because I’m not trying to deliberately hurt PEOPLE or be insensitive to anyone. I guess jokes are a way to bring some laughter and fun to any situation , but I always think that there is just a little bit of truth to that joke I just heard.
